I have always been passionate about advertising, marketing and design. I was first introduced to marketing in 2003 while working for Matrix Media Technologies, a San Diego based Internet marketing and advertising agency. Through a diverse range of projects and positions I learned the fundamental skills and techniques of online marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), Internet advertising and copywriting. Outside of work I expanded my knowledge of both Dreamweaver and the Adobe Creative Suite by delving into design magazines, books, tutorials and forums. This fusion of theory and practical experience strengthened my creative problem solving abilities and provided a repertoire of creative techniques.
I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from the University of California San Diego. The rigorous curriculum provided solid training in media research, persuasive writing and critical analysis. While in college I created Lischer Media, a San Diego consulting business specializing in advertising, marketing, SEO, web development and graphic design.
I am currently working as a marketing consultant for a high tech company that manufactures behavioral testing systems for the scientific industry. Over the past two years I created and managed a multi-channel marketing campaign including trade show marketing, print and online advertising, collateral, email marketing, website design, keyword research and search engine optimization. I utilized my backgrounds in project management and design to lead a creative team through the successful execution of the marketing campaign. What sets me apart from other San Diego marketing consultants is my keen ability to communicate effectively and tactfully between my clients and creative teams while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
While working as a San Diego marketing consultant for small businesses has been highly rewarding, my immediate career goal is to attain an account executive position where I can utilize my creativity and project management skills to make a positive contribution to the growth of the agency.
